Make sure that you both understand and are passionate about our mission through Moving Your Mind! Identifying and researching about local information is important to identify any obstacles or challenges you may face while connecting with exercise studios.
Make sure you check out the "Contact Us" page if you are thinking of starting your own chapter! I am willing to have an email exchange or phone call to give you all the guidance you may need! I am eager to provide guidance, support, and proper resources that will help jumpstart the process!
Whether you plan to work independently or with a group of peers, establishing leadership is vital for planning and organization. There are always ways to recruit a team and assign roles to make the process more efficient and easier to navigate.
Especially in the beginning of the process, planning will be your guide. Developing a strategy on how to contact local studios, recruit participants, and advertise your program will help immensely. Before contacting these studios, however, don't forget that "research and preparation" step to make sure their policies will allow these kinds of classes.
Once all the other steps have been completed to your liking, it is time to start working with these studios and host events! Advertising events through fliers to your designated audience is the best way to put the word out and attract more people. Engaging with this community will raise awareness of our mission!
Moving Your Mind is the perfect way to make a difference in the teenage community. With these mental health setbacks, this issue is increasingly important to address and take action in. With starting your own chapter, you will also be able to enhance your leadership skills and build strong connections to your community as a whole.
